‘The Works’
As the name suggests, this home really has “the works”. From the basement through to the rooftop entertaining areas, Blutek automated and connected almost every major technology system in the property.
The scope included a two-tier home theatre, whole-home lighting, multi-room audio and video, networking, security, access control and alarm integration.
A standout feature is the basement games room, where illuminated pool tables, in-ceiling stereo audio and motorised curtains reveal an underwater view into the swimming pool — turning the lower level into a fully integrated entertainment space rather than a collection of separate systems.
This project demonstrates the value of designing automation across the entire property rather than room by room. Blutek coordinated theatre, lighting, AV, networking and security so each level of the home works through a consistent control experience, while feature spaces such as the games room retain their own personality.
