A purpose-designed private cinema featuring Sony native 4K laser projection, a 170-inch acoustically transparent screen, Triad surround sound, Integra processing, dual Episode subwoofers and Control4 room automation.

This cinema project was developed around an expansive 170-inch, 2.35:1 microperforated projection screen, a premium surround-sound configuration and a dramatic 1,200-point star ceiling. The objective was to deliver an immersive viewing experience while keeping the technology and room finishes visually integrated.
The signed-off scope specifies a Sony XW6100ES native 4K laser projector, Triad In-Wall Silver/4 front speakers and Triad Series 3 distributed in-wall speakers, an Integra DRX-8.4 11.4-channel network AV receiver and two Episode Mega D dual 12-inch sealed subwoofers. The room’s audio installation is described as an 11-channel Atmos system.
Control4 CORE 1 with a black Halo remote provides the documented automation foundation, alongside selected keypad and puck modules for lighting control. The design also includes a 1,200-point LED star ceiling and black Vicoustic Cinema Round acoustic panels.
The individual products, counts and scope descriptions below come from the supplied signed-off document. Final installed configurations should be checked against the handover record before publication.

The theatre is designed around a wide cinematic image, a detailed front soundstage, multichannel surround sound and deep low-frequency impact. A 170-inch microperforated screen is specified to work alongside concealed in-wall audio components, creating a cleaner front-of-room presentation.
Triad loudspeakers, Integra processing and two high-output Episode subwoofers form the documented audio system. The proposed control experience includes Control4 CORE 1, a Halo remote and selected lighting components.
A 1,200-point star ceiling and Vicoustic acoustic treatment give the room a more architectural identity. These elements are presented as specified components of the project, with commissioning and any later variations subject to final verification.
PROJECT VISION
The brief for this private cinema called for a large-format picture, immersive sound and an environment that feels purpose-built rather than assembled from separate pieces of equipment. BLUTEK’s documented scope combines the screen, projection, in-wall loudspeakers, audio processing, subwoofers, automation, acoustic panels and feature lighting into one considered theatre design.
With a 170-inch 2.35:1 screen at the centre, speaker position and room treatment are integral to the layout. The star-lit ceiling gives the space a distinctive visual character without competing with the projected image.

CINEMA PROJECTION
A Sony XW6100ES native 4K laser projector is specified for the main cinema image, together with a 170-inch Screen Technics microperforated screen in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. A custom projector slider or enclosure is also included.
The wider screen format is designed to suit cinematic material and create a strong sense of scale. The microperforated screen allows a projection surface to coexist with suitable speaker placement behind the picture, subject to the completed acoustic and installation design.
The final revision replaces the earlier XW5000 projector selection with the XW6100ES and specifies the upgraded 170-inch acoustically transparent screen.

Native 4K laser projector specified as the primary cinema display.
Microperforated 2.35:1 screen for the main projection wall.
One custom slider or projector box included in the specification.
A 15-metre Blustream 4K 48Gbps HDMI cable is included in the documented cabling.
SURROUND SOUND

The proposal identifies three Triad In-Wall Silver/4 LCR speakers for the front of the room, supported by eight Triad Series 3 distributed in-wall speakers across three itemised groups of two, two and four. These are specified as part of the eleven-channel Atmos installation.
An Integra DRX-8.4 11.4-channel network AV receiver is the named processing platform. The revised equipment selection includes two Episode Mega D sealed dual 12-inch subwoofers, each described with a 1,000W amplifier, to support low-frequency effects.
The signed-off sheet does not explicitly identify the exact channel assignments for every Series 3 speaker. Rather than invent a particular 7.2.4 layout, the case study describes the documented eleven-channel Atmos installation.
Three in-wall speakers specified for left, centre and right front-channel duties.
Eight distributed in-wall speakers in the speaker schedule.
11.4-channel network AV receiver for surround processing and switching.
Two sealed dual 12-inch subwoofers specified in the updated system.
SMART ROOM CONTROL
The room-control scope lists a Control4 CORE 1 controller and black Halo remote, together with a configurable 240V keypad, a one-gang black faceplate, one wireless low-wattage puck dimmer and one wireless puck switch module.
Two puck installations and programming for two lighting circuits are also itemised. The intention is convenient theatre operation and compatible lighting control through an integrated interface. Individual scene names and additional whole-home control functions are not confirmed in the project schedule and are not assumed.

Main theatre controller included in the documented automation system.
One black handheld interface for compatible home theatre control.
Black configurable keypad and matching one-gang faceplate.
Dimmer and switch modules, with installation and lighting-circuit programming.
FEATURE LIGHTING

A defining element of the cinema is the documented 1,200-point LED star ceiling, including the associated setting, sanding and painting scope. The dark overhead surface creates a night-sky effect that complements the scale of the room and the viewing environment.
Starlight treatments require coordination with speaker positions, ceiling services, projector sightlines and the final lighting design. The proposal doesn’t name the LED star system manufacturer or model, so no unsupported product attribution has been added.
ROOM ACOUSTICS
The theatre includes a Vicoustic Premium Cinema Round eight-panel pack in black, with Flexi Glue Ultra listed for installation. These products are part of the acoustic and finishing scope supporting the room’s overall experience.
The purpose of acoustic treatment is to help manage sound reflections in the listening environment. The signed-off proposal contains no measured reverberation or isolation results, so the case study does not claim specific tested acoustic performance.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
The signed-off theatre schedule includes project management, scope design, plan marking, installation of the 11-channel Atmos room and Control4 programming. It also specifies speaker cabling, HDMI connectivity and banana plugs alongside the major equipment.
Coordinating these elements helps align the hardware with screen dimensions, loudspeaker placement, source connectivity, acoustic materials and the final control experience. General electrical work and several other building-service integrations remain outside the proposal unless separately scoped.
PROJECT TECHNOLOGY
The signed-off equipment register includes Sony, Screen Technics, Triad, Integra, Episode, Control4 and Vicoustic technology, together with installation materials and specialist programming.
The models are recorded separately for BLUTEK’s future product catalogue. Quantities relate to the attached scope, not an independently verified final installation inventory.
